PAERE is calling on emerging and established artists from the GTA who embrace, challenge and reimagine Blackness through varying mediums, to showcase their work.
As a learning opportunity, and a way for artists to integrate their works with technology, selected artists will be invited to a workshop where they will learn the process behind creating an augmented reality experience. Tokens will be provided for attendance to the workshop.
Does your art challenge and think about Blackness in new ways? Then we would love to see your work!
We encourage all kinds of submissions that explore representations of Blackness including but not limited to mediums such as sculpture, painting, drawing and illustrations. You name it. All exhibited artists will be paid according to CARFAC rates.
Sound like something you'd be into?
